The Children’s Ministry of HCC is here for families with young children.  We feel that our kids are truly an important part of the Hopewell family.  Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”  This is Christ’s vision for us to fulfill.

We hope to provide a complete family experience.  The whole family first joins together worshiping in song and then it’s time to dive into the Word.  While you are enjoying the part of the service meant for you, your children are spending time in classes geared just for them.  Whether it’s a Bible lesson, craft, or game, our focus is to share the love of Christ and teach of His saving grace.  Our nursery provides care for your newborn to pre-school age children.  While, our children’s church classes are for those in kindergarten through 5th grade.

                Our mission is to help kids know God and find truth in His Word.  We want to see them get excited as the Holy Spirit releases them into a life lived for the Lord.  Memorizing Scripture is an important element to the lessons.  We believe what it says in Psalm 119:11, “Your Word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.”  We encourage the family to memorize together and to explore the lessons at home!
